Hi, I’m Brad, the one-man team behind MaudTech, your friendly neighborhood IT service and repair business based here in beautiful Hocking Hills.

I’m a family man with six wonderful children, a busy life, and a big passion for helping people solve their tech problems. When I’m not coaching soccer or enjoying the outdoors with my family, you’ll probably find me tinkering with technology — something I’ve loved since I was a kid.

My tech journey began with video games, starting with my very first console, a Sega Genesis. That early curiosity grew as I started modding phones, game consoles, and even dabbling in basic hacking during my teenage years. Although my career path took me primarily into logistics, I was always the go-to guy for friends and colleagues when they ran into issues with software, scanners, printers, and all kinds of devices.

This knack for troubleshooting eventually led me into two IT roles — first as a technology coordinator, then as a device support analyst at Ohio University, where I truly broadened my knowledge about everything that plugs into a wall or a network. I learned how to repair, maintain, and manage a wide array of devices using the latest tools and software.

Now, I’ve refocused my passion on serving the Hocking Hills community through MaudTech. I’m deeply interested in permacomputing, Linux, open source technology, and repairability — and I’m an advocate for your right to repair. My mission is to provide tech solutions that are affordable, accessible, and sustainable for everyone.

At MaudTech, I bring decades of hands-on experience, a genuine desire to help, and a personal touch in every repair or service I offer. Whether it’s fixing a device, optimizing your setup, or providing sound advice, I’m here to make technology work better for you — without the hassle or the unnecessary expense.

Thank you for considering MaudTech. Let’s keep your tech running smoothly and sustainably.
